About the opportunity The Support Service Employee – Cleaning, Kitchen, Laundry (Grade 1) is responsible for working under limited supervision and providing general assistance to higher grade employees in the full range of domestic duties. The position is accountable and responsible in ensuring compliance with SCC policies and procedures, relevant standards, relevant legislation and accepted industry practices. This role will join our team on a part-time basis. Mainly assisting in the cafe and with morning tea and afternoon tea, ensuring all fellow staff are committed to serving quality food and courteous service to our residents. This role will also be responsible for duties in the kitchen, laundry and housekeeping/cleaning. Engage respectfully with older adults, understanding their unique preferences and needs. Ensure all fellow staff are committed to serving quality food and courteous service to our residents. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards.
